With extreme temperatures forecast for this weekend, and the summer ahead, its important that all Clubs, Coaches, Captains, Players and Parents are familiar with the Extreme Heat guidelines.
Changes to the Extreme Heat Policy can only be made, as per any of the By-Laws, at the Annual General Meeting, where the proposed changes can be tabled, discussed and voted on. The HDCA can't change the policy beyond the AGM.
As per the Policy, the HDCA will review the forecast temperature at 4pm on the day before play, and if the forecast is for 45 degrees or more, the HDCA may decide to abandon the round.
